Did I just write "Premiere"?

I have finally seen the footage and I am pleased. The quality of the film is as to be expected. There's these purples spots that hover around James' head because the sun was reflecting off the lens in the most peculiar way. The acting is looking good. Mat, let me tell you, Jon's parents were cracking up at your twig droppping shenanigans. Nathan, you had me dying at some unusable shots. I'm pretty sad about that. At least we can use them as deleted scenes I guess.

So, Jon leaves the 14th, Dan leaves the 8th. But we hope to shoot some on the 16th still with Nathan and Joel mainly. Dan and I are going to start editing the week of the 16th, then we will shoot the weekend of the 29th (Mat, are you free July 27th, Thursday night? Let me know asap), and the two following weekends (Aug 5, 6 and 12, 13). Then we are done filming. The rest is editing and music.

BIG NEWS!!!

The United States premiere of Konie's Hedge will be, ahem: August 27, 7pm.

The place: Chiarizio back yard, bring a lawn blanket.

If it rains, then my apartment will suffice, with the wall above the mantel acting as a movie screen.

We are about half way done. If we can get everything shot on these next couple Saturdays and Sundays we will be in the green.

Congrats on all the cooperation, timeliness, and hard work. Everyone has perfect costumes and perfect delivery of their lines. I definitely wanted to get more done this weekend but that's just the way it goes. For the next two or three weeks we will have to play it by ear. I hope Dan can edit in that time. If he even reads this. The next official day of shooting is July 29th and 30th, and then August 12th and 13th after that. But I hope to do some during the week as well. Keep your phone on and be ready. In fact, for the next three weeks just wear your costumes just in case I call, ok? And please don't eat or talk to anyone. That would ruin this whole movie.
